It’s not easy to find and rank the best PC games. On the PC, there are a plethora of high-quality games to choose from. To make it a little simpler, we wanted to stick to games that were released recently and tried to include as many different genres as possible.
Of course, there is a slew of other games that should have made this list, but you can’t go wrong with any of these. Please bear in mind that these are not specified in any specific order. Although the prices of the goods listed in the table below were revised as of April 5, 2021, the list itself may have altered since it was last issued due to introducing new products into the market meanwhile then.

Best 10 Games for the PC
The Witcher 3
The Witcher 3 is widely regarded as one of the best RPGs ever made, and with good reason. The game has stunning graphics and a captivating plot. Close fighting and outstanding gameplay mechanics tie it together. Add in a middle-earth environment with swords and sorcery, and you’ve got yourself a recipe for awesomeness.
Grand theft auto V
The Grand Theft Auto series is a gaming legend, and its games are known for their high quality. Grand Theft Auto V, the company’s most recent title, is no exception, with a massive map and a diverse set of gameplay mechanics ranging from driving to shooting to flying.
This time, the game features three different protagonists. There’s also a new multiplayer mode that lets players wreak havoc even after the main plot is completed.
Red dead redemption 2
Red Dead Redemption 2 provides a wide-open world with plenty of things to do, close to its GTA predecessors. It also includes a rich and compelling story about family, friends, deception, and, of course, redemption.
Furthermore, the gameplay is smooth, and the graphics are among the best currently available. It’s the ultimate ‘cowboy simulator,’ so to speak.
Skyrim: the elder scrolls V
Bethesda is known for its huge RPGs, and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim raised the bar even higher. The game takes place in a magical universe populated by elves, magicians, and dragons.
On the other hand, the vast map is brimming with items to discover and side quests to complete. So much so that you’ll almost certainly get distracted while playing the game.
The Lost Paradise
Fans of alternate history would be intrigued by Paradise Lost. It takes place in a world where World War II ended with the Nazis annihilating Europe with nuclear weapons.
Almost two decades have passed since that apocalyptic incident, and you, as 12-year-old Szymon, are exploring an abandoned Nazi bunker in search of an elusive man. The game’s gameplay is close to that of other walking simulators. Since you can only communicate with a mysterious girl named
Ewa via the bunker’s technology, this game can remind you of Firewatch crossed with Bioshock. Although it is a short game, the entry fee is just right for diving into this adventure.
Shadowlands: World of Warcraft
Shadowlands is a World of Warcraft expansion set in the Land of the Dead, with five main zones and a central core city to explore. There’s plenty of new content to keep you busy, whether you want to play with friends or tackle the story independently.
While the expansion includes several new features, such as more character customizations and a new drop zone called “Exile’s Reach,” where new players can level up, the game remains true to its RPG and MMO roots, providing you with the same fantasy-laden vast world to explore and destroy monsters in that has kept the game alive for 16 years.
Microsoft Flight Simulator
It won’t take long for you to know that the Microsoft Flight Simulator is a labor of love, beyond its flawless graphics and excellent peripheral support.
There’s a lot of detail here, as well as a degree of realism and immersion that you won’t find anywhere else. So much so that even if you’re not a fan of flight simulators, you’ll want to climb on board. That also means that this game isn’t for everybody.
Even whether you enjoy flight simulators or planes and traveling, you’ll enjoy the opportunity to pilot iconic vehicles in some of the world’s most spectacular yet dangerous locations and conditions.
Death Stranding
If the name Norman Reedus drew your attention when Death Stranding was discussed, then you’re in for a treat. However, this game is attracting a lot of publicity for reasons other than the big names involved.
This award-winning action game is also a feast for the senses, thanks to its fantastic plot, which could be reminiscent of the current pandemic, excellent gameplay, entertaining missions, and stunning sound and visuals.
Monster Hunter World
Monster Hunter: World places you in the role of a monster hunter, and you’ll be tasked with hunting down increasingly larger and more dangerous creatures, stripping them of their pieces, and crafting bigger, worse armor. It’s a deceptively easy gameplay loop that turns into one of the most entertaining and satisfying PC games available right now.
This game is bursting at the seams with content, and Capcom, the game’s creators, is dedicated to providing a slew of free DLC – as well as a new frosty expansion in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. Monster Hunter: World is the PC game of your dreams if you’re looking for a communicative, addictive, and most importantly, enjoyable game to play on your own or cooperatively with all of your closest mates.
ORI and the WISPS’ desire
Ori and the Will of the Wisps is a sequel to Ori and the Blind Forests, which was similarly awesome. The graphics in this platformer are beautiful and wouldn’t look out of place on a canvas. However, a platformer is just as good as its controls, which the game luckily delivers on. The stunning soundtrack is the cherry on top.
